ASH Berlin / Programmes of study / consecutive masters programmes

Broadening and deepening knowledge with consecutive masters programmes

The two consecutive masters programmes build on ASH Berlin bachelors programmes, deepening the knowledge base of their students. The masters programme in Research in Social Work and Education builds on the programmes in Social Work and Early Childhood Education. The programme, which leads to a “Master of Arts”, qualifies its graduates for activities in the fields of practice-based research, project management, or management positions in social work and education. It is designed for students who want to play an active role in constructing the scientific basis of their profession and draw on research to improve the practices within that profession.

The masters programme in Management and Quality Development in the Health Sector is intended for ASH Berlin graduates who have completed an initial degree in the area of health and social care management, physiotherapy/occupational therapy or a comparable programme. The degree of “Master of Science” qualifies graduates to direct larger-scale facilities in the healthcare sector, to establish and manage a care or therapy facility, and to research or develop innovative concepts in the healthcare sector.
