WS „going abroad - preparation and follow-up of a stay abroad“ 11/27/2023

ASH Berlin / 203

International Office

A stay abroad during your studies is a great enrichment and challenge at the same time. Such a project requires some planning, as well as an examination of your own ideas, expectations, wishes, fears and experiences. Reflecting on your own motivation and what you have already experienced goes hand in hand with various questions and topics on different levels: What does the stay mean for me socially, emotionally, organizationally and materially? Returnees are given the opportunity to contribute and reflect on their experiences and, if necessary, to develop strategies for dealing with them appropriately. The networking of „outgoing“ and „incoming“ outgoings should also be strengthened.

The workshops are primarily designed for students who have either recently returned from a stay abroad or who will be starting a stay abroad in the near future and have already registered with the International Office. Students who have not yet started the planning and application phase of their stay abroad should wait to attend the workshop (the workshops take place every semester: in the summer semester usually in June / July and in the winter semester usually in November / December). In case of overbooking, we may give preference to students who have just returned or will be going abroad in the near future over students who have not yet registered their stay abroad with the International Office.

The workshop will be held by Joy Ludwig (M. A. Dipl.-Soz.päd.). Joy Ludwig is a systemic supervisor and therapist (SG) and has been working in his own practice since 2006 in the areas of supervision, coaching and as a family therapist as well as a university supervisor and lecturer at various universities and educational institutions.

The workshop will take place on 11/27 as well as on 12/01 2023, both from 9 am to 3 pm.

We ask for a binding registration electronically via LSF or via www.ash-berlin.eu/lsf > Vorlesungsverzeichnis > Angebote für alle Studiengänge und Semester > Z010 Going abroad.
Please make sure that you only register for one of the two dates in LSF!

If you have registered for the workshop via LSF, the corresponding course will also be displayed in Moodle. The Moodle course and the contents will be available 1-2 weeks before the workshop at the latest.

If you have any organizational questions about the workshop or problems with registration, please contact Aleksandra Klecha (head-international-office@ avoid-unrequested-mailsash-berlin.eu).

Participation in the workshop can be credited with 25 points in Module 4 for the ASH International Certificate .
