Introduction in One Field of Cultural, Aesthetic or Media Social Work II (U1 Teil 2 zu Kultur - Ästhetik - Medien) - Einzelansicht

Berlin through my eyes 
Starting from various perspectives, you create your own videos in individual or group work under the guidance of filmmaker and researcher Lilian Franck. There are no limits to the discovery of your creative potential - all genres and thematic approaches are welcome. In cooperation with the ASH Media Lab (Medienwerkstatt), you get insights on all phases of film production and a bridge is repeatedly drawn between theory and practice. In addition we will go on an excursion (Berlin film premier or screening during a film festival) and analyse your favorite movies. The learning objectives include getting to know storytelling methods, applying technical skills in camera and editing work, analysing various forms of media expression, as well as developing and presenting your own work. Cameras and editing suites can be borrowed from the ASH. 
The seminar will take place as a presence event (Präsenzveranstaltung). In addition to the videos to be made, the exam consists of a written reflection on the transfer of the knowledge gained from your own learning process to social cultural work. The conditions for this will be announced on Moodle.
