This seminar focuses on theories and methods of social work practice. Building on students´ practicum experiences, theoretical and practical approaches will be discussed and applied in exercises, case examples etc. The seminar combines self-study, reading, and critical analysis of texts, small group and full class discussions, and experiential approaches to learning always seeking multiple perspectives. Particular emphasis will be put on strengths-oriented, solution-focused methods and systems theories. |
