Quality management

Quality management at ASH Berlin is holistic and process-oriented. Our understanding of quality assumes, among other things, that processes, their interfaces and interactions as well as the satisfaction of the addressees with processes are essential for quality. We therefore focus on the integration and continuous improvement of processes via the Process and Quality Management (PQM) department in order to increase quality. By working in process teams and offering regular training and workshops, PQM helps to ensure that all members of the university are involved in quality development and act together in a quality-oriented manner.

The PQM staff unit is part of an integrated quality management system that is being developed together with the Department of Quality Management and Development in Studies and Teaching (QME SuL). We are united by the development of a common quality culture in which we ensure quality in the long term and develop it sustainably. The PQM staff unit and the QME SuL department work in a service-oriented, systematic and rule-based manner. They provide impetus, promote networking and develop tailor-made solutions together with the members of ASH Berlin.
