In the BASA-online university network and especially in the BASA-online course at ASH Berlin, we are aware of the relevance of didactically appealing teaching and learning materials. We are also aware of the need to promote the flexibilization of teaching and learning formats and to identify opportunities to hold courses online, hybrid or face-to-face.

In order to promote the flexibilization of teaching and achieve a strong student focus, we have implemented our ideas as part of the HyFlex meets Best Practice/Foundation Innovation in University Teaching funding project, which runs from 01.08.2021 to 31.12.2025, focusing on students, teaching, technology and didactics and building up a Social Work Teaching Pool accordingly. This is available to all teaching staff.

The LehrFundus Soziale Arbeit is a comprehensive repository for teachers with flexible teaching and learning materials that can be used for student-centered challenges as well as for hybrid, online-based or face-to-face teaching and learning formats in social work and related degree programs. All formats can be implemented according to requirements and needs using the materials provided.

Specifically, you will find the following teaching and learning materials:

  • https://lehrfundus.de/studierende-im-fokus/The materials offered are didactically prepared and tested materials as well as student-centered, interactive exercises that meet the evaluated challenges and support needs of the students.

  • https://lehrfundus.de/lehre-im-fokus/:

    • More than 30 complete and flexible teaching concepts on communication, counseling and methodological approaches in social work are available for hybrid, online-based or face-to-face teaching.

    • A learning coaching manual on typical mistakes supports teachers in giving feedback on coursework.

    • Approaches to diversity and gender-sensitive communication can be found here.

    • A colorful collection of lectures, specialist presentations and student research projects is also available.

  • https://lehrfundus.de/technik-und-didaktik/:

    • Various support materials are available with regard to hybrid/online teaching, the necessary technical requirements and teaching scenario implementation options, including information on data protection and "netiquette".

    • Teaching-didactic concepts for the use of AI and VR glasses in teaching-learning settings are presented.

  • https://lehrfundus.de/beratung-und-weiterbildung/Teachers have the opportunity to arrange an individual consultation appointment to discuss questions about implementing student-centred, flexible and hybrid teaching.

Teachers can register and create their own collection of materials!

Once you have registered, you can compile your own collection of materials in the member area. This means that you will always have the right teaching concepts or specific, individual and flexible materials available for designing your teaching.
