Applications for funding in the IFAF EXPLORATIV funding line can be submitted to the Institute for Applied Research Berlin (IFAF Berlin) until May 16. Only full-time professors at IFAF universities (ASH, BHT, HTW, HWR) are eligible to apply.
The IFAF EXPLORATIV funding line supports the initiation of research projects, for example in the development and consolidation of research ideas, including networking and partner search, but also in writing a proposal. The service is primarily aimed at newly appointed professors . They receive bonus points for the assessment.
IFAF Berlin provides up to 10,000 euros for EXPLORATIV projects with a duration of 6 months. Personnel costs for student assistants as well as material costs for contracts with third parties, office and business supplies, literature and travel expenses in Germany are eligible for funding. In addition, a pro rata teacher reduction of 2 SWS can be claimed.
Depending on the availability of funds, funding will begin on October 1, 2024, or possibly at the beginning of 2025.
