"A life for social work" - this is the title of the current episode of the podcast "Women of that time". Bianca Walther, collaborator and author in the project "The Twins and Aunt Ly", which is concerned with the processing and mediation of the estate of Alice Salomon, which arrived in 2021/2022, dedicates an entire episode of her well-known podcast to the namesake of the university and archive. She follows in Alice Salomon's footsteps: from the" Höhere Töchterschule" (Secondary school for girls) to the women workers club and - as the youngest member of the board - the Federation of German Women's Associations to her dissertation and the founding of the first Social school for women.

Bianca Walther paints a detailed picture of Alice Salomon and her formative work for social work and the women's movement, and not least an exciting portrait of society at the turn of the century.
