People Prof. Dr. Katja Boguth is a new member of the Berlin Alliance for Care

Her goal is to publicize the great resource of nursing studies for the health care of the state of Berlin.

At the invitation of the Senate Department for Science, Health and Care, ASH Professor Dr. Katja Boguth has joined the Berlin Alliance for Care. Boguth is a professor at Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences Berlin for the practical study phase in the primary qualifying bachelor's degree program in nursing. "By participating in this alliance, I hope to advance the professionalization and academization of the nursing profession, to be able to publicize the great resource of nursing studies for health care in the state, and to initiate and support important developments as a source of innovation," Boguth said.

The Berlin Alliance for Nursing is an alliance of representatives from politics, public, independent and private welfare care, clinics, payers, the regional directorate of the Federal Employment Agency, trade unions, professional associations and the professional and employer associations for nursing. The Berlin-Brandenburg business associations, the Berlin Advisory Council for Family Issues and the Berlin Gay Counseling Service are also members of the alliance. Together, the partners in the Berlin Alliance for Care are committed to measures to secure the need for skilled workers in care. The next meeting of the Berlin Alliance for Care will take place on June 8, 2023.
