In this year's vote for Teacher of the Year, organized by the association of "Virtual Universities of Applied Sciences" (VFH), the commitment of two ASH Berlin lecturers was honored: Prof. Dr. André Heinz and Christine Blümke from the Interprofessional Health Care - Online program took the first two places. The award is given to teachers who support their students in an outstanding way, also beyond teaching. Since 2011, students have had the opportunity to vote to recognize online support, informative web conferences and helpful motivational support from their instructors. This year, 1,148 students took part and a total of 417 lecturers were selected.
The award ceremony for the three first-place winners - in addition to Prof. Dr. André Heinz and Christine Blümke, Jonas Reinhardt from Kiel UAS - will take place on June 15, 2023 at the VFH Symposium at Kiel UAS .
We congratulate the award winners and are very happy about this recognition for our study program Interprofessional Health Care - online (IGo).
