Discover the new building!
Papagena artwork: The wooden collage by artist Carin Grudda can be seen in the new ASH Berlin building from the opening day. The work was donated by Dr. Christiane Müller-Wichmann. Since 2024, ASH Berlin has also awarded the C.-W.-Müller Prize for outstanding student research.
History in the Alice Salomon Archive: For 25 years, the ASA has been preserving evidence of the 130-year history of Alice Salomon Hochschule Berlin. At the new location in Hellersdorf, we take a digital tour through the early years of the Social Women's School, the further development of the university's history and give an outlook on the planned use of the Schöneberg premises.
"alice gesund" vitamin bar: Need an energy boost for the day of the event (and January)? The university's health team will provide you with fresh, home-made smoothies made from fruit and vegetables.
SAGE research at ASH Berlin: The exhibition provides insights into current research projects and shows how practical research addresses social issues and contributes to new offers in social, health-related and educational practice. The Sage SAGE! project, which strengthens the university's SAGE profile and makes central interdisciplinary topics visible, provides impetus in this regard.
Sustainability at the university: ASH Berlin aims to achieve near-zero emissions by 2035. TrASHform and the Office for Climate Justice, Sustainability and ESD provide insights into the carbon footprint of the seminar rooms and the new building and explain measures to reduce the ecological footprint.
Health - simulation-based: The Nursing and Physiotherapy / Occupational Therapy degree programs show how students are prepared for practical phases and their future careers, for example with the help of infant simulators and geriatric suits.
16 years of research at IFAF Berlin: The exhibition pays tribute to the practical and interdisciplinary work of the Competence Center Integration and Health at IFAF Berlin. From 2009 to 2025, the center at ASH Berlin coordinated numerous research projects on integration, health, care, education and social issues with a strong regional focus. The current restructuring process at IFAF as part of the cost-cutting measures will also be discussed.
"Hellersdorf is not Siberia": The film from 2008 documents the relocation of ASH Berlin from Schöneberg to Hellersdorf. It shows the different expectations of the district, university management and students as well as the gradual arrival of the university at its new location.
Innovative learning architectures: The Department for Quality Management and Development in Studies and Teaching invites you to explore the new learning spaces in a playful way. In the Community Hub, you can experience how room design, equipment and didactics work together to open up inspiring opportunities for modern and creative learning.
On the trail of Alice Salomon: A photo album given to Alice Salomon in 1929 becomes the starting point for a search for traces. In her exhibition, Aya Schamoni links the historical motifs surrounding the Pestalozzi-Fröbel-Haus in Schöneberg with the present.
Chronicle of the new building: From idea to reality - the development of the extension to the Alice Salomon Hochschule Berlin is well documented. Using photos, videos, newspaper articles and other materials, we trace the construction stages and the development of the project.
