Abstract:
This collaborative project examines the conditions under which sexualized violence was enabled, legitimized, or concealed within emancipatory movements. The goal is to critically analyze these issues and develop approaches for prevention and (sexual) education practices. Methodologically, the project combines archival materials, discourse data, and interviews with contemporary witnesses and survivors. In participatory formats, findings are collectively reflected upon and further developed. The project is expected to yield new insights into mechanisms of power and legitimacy, contribute to theoretical development, and produce concrete outputs such as educational programs, materials, and exhibitions.
