Study ASH Berlin offers pre-study program again

The free, qualifying program is aimed at international and refugee prospective students. Application deadline: 15.5.

ASH Berlin is once again offering the one-year ASH Pre-Study Program, which is free of charge and qualifies you to study. The program is aimed at all newcomers, i.e. international and refugee prospective students who have not obtained their educational qualifications in Germany and cannot yet apply for a regular course of study at ASH Berlin. Following the Pre-Study Program, participants can study the Bachelor's degree programs in Social Work, Childhood Education, Nursing, Health and Nursing Management or Physiotherapy/Ergotherapy at ASH Berlin.

Information on the orientation of the ASH Pre-Study Program:

  • German and study preparation course (level B1 to C1)
  • Attendance of first seminars (creditable for regular studies)
  • Completion of further study-specific admission requirements (e.g. completion of a pre-study internship)
  • Support and guidance during the program and with the final application for regular studies by the ASH Refugee Office Team and a social worker

Application period: April 15 to May 15 (annually)

On the ASH Pre-Study Program website you will find all information on the application procedure. In the download area you will also find the general program flyer as well as brief information about the program in Arabic, German, English, Farsi, French, Kurdish, Russian, Turkish and Ukrainian.

Information events:

Online information events about the ASH Pre-Study Program will take place on April 29 (10-12 am) and May 6 (4-6 pm). Interested parties and supporters will gain insight into the program, its structure and orientation during the upcoming cycle. There will also be an opportunity to talk to participants of the ASH Pre-Study Program and graduates who are already studying.
