Pride Month in Berlin comes to an end this weekend, here is the statement from Nina Lawrenz, Women* and Equality Officer at ASH Berlin:
"On the occasion of the upcoming weekend celebrating Christopher Street Day, ASH Berlin has also raised the Progressive Flag. We want to commemorate the Stonewall riots, in which queer and trans* people, especially BIPOCs, resisted police violence in New York in the late 1960s and thus formed a starting point for the global movement for equal rights and recognition for the LGBTIQ movement."
