The ASH Berlin library has been successful for the second time with its application to the German Research Foundation (DFG) for funding for open access journal articles. Through the "Open Access Publication Costs" program, the DFG supports universities in setting up services to finance publication projects. The DFG particularly appreciated the university library's plan to use the project funds raised to specifically support young academics.
The DFG's positive vote ensures the continued existence of the ASH Publication Fund in 2024. Members of the university who are planning to submit an article to an open access journal in the coming months should contact the library now to arrange a consultation: openaccess@ ash-berlin.eu
