How to apply, dates and deadlines
The International Office is responsible for applications of exchange students, who spend one or two semesters at ASH Berlin while remaining enrolled at their home university. If you wish to apply as a regular degree-seeking student, please contact the general student counselling or check the overview of our study programmes which include English- and Spanish-taught Master programmes.
If you wish to spend one or two semesters at ASH Berlin and if your home university is a partner university of ours, you can apply as an exchange student. Your home university has to nominate you for the exchange programme first, so please contact the international office of your home university to find out about the procedures and deadlines to apply. Your nomination has to be sent by your home university directly to the International Office, afterwards we will send an e-mail to you with the link to our online application portal and further information about the application process.
Once we have received the nomination from your home university, we will send you an e-mail with all information required for the application. We will also hold a preparatory webinar where we will explain in detail all further steps for the application. We ask all students to only apply AFTER having attended the webinar.
In the e-mail, you will also find the link to our online application portal "Moveon". Please complete the online application after our webinar and upload the following documents to the application portal (documents must be in PDF format with a maximum size of 5 MB):
At the end of the online application, a PDF form with your application details will be created. Please print the form, sign on the last page and send it to the following address by the deadline below:
Alice Salomon Hochschule Berlin
