This short workshop provides an initial insight into how to conduct conversations with ASH members who have experienced (sexualized) discrimination and violence and with people who are suspected of having acted in a discriminatory or violent manner. Framework conditions and attitudes for such conversations are conveyed. The event is aimed at people who implement the university's duty of care as part of their work.
This is an offer as part of the project "Positioned and visible - ASH Berlin's protection concept for dealing with sexualized discrimination and violence and anti-feminist attacks". The aim of the protection concept is to actively prevent discrimination, harassment and violence as well as anti-feminist attacks and to effectively protect those affected. We want people to be able to move around safely at ASH and therefore see protection against all forms of discrimination as a cross-cutting issue.
The series of events is intended to give interested parties an insight into the documents created as part of the development of the protection concept and leave room for questions and needs. The event is aimed at employees and teaching staff at ASH Berlin. All events will take place online via ZOOM, the access link will be sent out shortly before the event. We kindly ask you to register.
