How do we imagine a city that puts care at the center? In times of tight budgets and infrastructure cuts, many people are faced with the question: Who actually cares for whom? And how can neighborhoods take responsibility for each other?
On 27 November 2025 at 5 pm, we cordially invite you to the Campus Transferale event:
"Caring city - utopia or necessity?"
Lecture & discussion with Dr. Barbara Fried (Rosa Luxemburg Foundation)
Location: GegenÜber, Kokoschkaplatz 9
Dr. Barbara Fried opens an inspiring dialog about the future of our cities. Together we will ask: What alternatives are there to a society that privatizes care work or makes it invisible? How can we create structures of solidarity right here in Hellersdorf?
The event is part of the CommunitySpaces carer series "Who cares for whom, Hellersdorf?" and invites you to develop concrete ideas for a caring neighbourhood - for a city that leaves no one alone.
Free admission, with snacks, drinks and childcare on request.
Come along and join the discussion: A caring city starts in the neighborhood!
