What role does social cultural work play in communities? How changeable are spaces, whether locally, digitally or functionally structured, what movements are there and what does this mean for the respective communities - also in an international context?
Actors use methods of social cultural work in various settings, conquer public space and have a visible impact both internally and externally. In the lecture with Prof. Johanna Kaiser and guests, projects from various districts, communities and neighborhoods from Hellersdorf to Havana will be presented and invited to exchange ideas.
As part of the European Project Active Memories , a diverse team of young adults / youth leaders from different countries (including Afghanistan, Syria, Russia and Germany) are working on workshops to collect and disseminate personal experiences of social resistance.
After five days of training in Italy, these young adults have so far independently developed and implemented eight workshops, using or developing different methods of biographical storytelling.
In an interactive session, some Youth Leaders and their supporters will report on their international experiences, present their concept, their goals and their practice and discuss questions that move them and many people.
