What is it like to be a college student? What can students expect in their day-to-day college life? And which degree program matches their interests? At the Study Buddy Days at the Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, high school students in grades 11 through 13 or other prospective students can get a taste of University life for a day and experience daily student life up close.
A Day as a College Student
Accompanied by a current student—the Study Buddy—participants gain a personal insight into daily university life. The program includes attending two seminars, talking with students, and the opportunity to ask questions about studying.
In addition, the information session provides useful details about the tuition-free bachelor’s degree programs in Social Work, Nursing (dual), and Early Childhood Education at ASH Berlin.
Dates and Registration
The Study Buddy Days will take place on November 5 and December 10, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day, at the Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences Berlin, Alice-Salomon-Platz 5. The university is located right next to the Hellersdorf subway station.

Participation is free of charge. No prior knowledge is required. A certificate of participation will be issued upon completion.
