The State Anti-Discrimination Act of the State of Berlin (LADG) has supplemented the legal protection against discrimination since it came into force in 2020. In contrast to the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG), the LADG protects against discrimination by public bodies in the state of Berlin. The LADG also requires measures to "promote a culture of valuing diversity". This online training course is intended to provide an overview of the regulatory content of the LADG and its applicability in the university context.
