As a service center for the promotion of writing and study skills, we were able to offer comprehensive support in the writing process for students of all semesters until December 2024.
We have developed specific offers that take place online and in presence at ASH.
The offers included 60-minute individual consultations as well as regular group offers and workshops for students of all semesters.
From January 2025, we will unfortunately have to cancel many of our offers, as positions that are essential to maintaining our work will be eliminated.

Our focus

We advise all ASH students across all semesters and degree programs.
Our focus is on advising non-first language speakers of German and developing anti-discriminatory and empowering offers and workshops.
To this end, we networked internally with the Newcomer Office and the EmpA, which unfortunately no longer exists, and took part in further training and conferences outside the university.
From January 2025, the peer-to-peer offers Bachelor's tutorial, text feedback and Bachelor's writing workshop as well as consultations will remain (limited). The writing workshop, workshops, our newsletter and seminar visits will be discontinued until further notice.

We support you with writing impulses and methods so that you can better understand your own writing process and overcome writer's block.
We provide input on self-organization and time management.
We are always available to answer any questions you may have about academic writing.
