The network QE-WiPrax - Quality Development in Science and Practice (cooperation network of the continuing education MA Child Protection - Dialogical Quality Development in Early Intervention and Child Protection) organized and financed a project to support people who had fled from Ukraine to Berlin after the beginning of the war of aggression in Ukraine in 2022.
A meeting café was set up in Berlin-Kreuzberg - the UKR Pro Berliner Treff on Moritzplatz for refugee families from Ukraine & other interested people from Berlin, which is still run by AspE e.V. today.
On behalf of the network, a young Ukrainian woman who had fled to Berlin with her family documented the project process on film, capturing the moving voices and experiences of visitors to the meeting place.
The QE-WiPrax network would now like to screen this film, which tells an impressive story of the effects of war, of flight and arrival in Berlin, of help and helplessness, of cooperation between academia and practice, of human encounters and solidarity.
The film will be followed by a small panel discussion on the topic.
