Provided the appropriation of funds by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the International Office can award up to two so-called “contact scholarships” for exchange students at ASH Berlin („Kontaktstipendium“) during winter term 2026/27. The scholarship is financed by the DAAD STIBET I programme from funds of the German Federal Foreign Office (Auswärtiges Amt, AA). Selection criteria are good academic achievements, student engagement as well as your current social / financial situation.

Note: this scholarship is only for students who have been accepted at ASH Berlin during winter term 2026/27 as a full-time exchange student from one of our non-EU partner universities. If you are an exchange student from a European partner university and/or if you receive an Erasmus+ or SEMP scholarship, you cannot apply.
