Intercultural Conflict Management, MA

Preparing for the advancement of peace and social justice

Programme Mission

In recognition of the changes being experienced by many societies as a consequence of increasing global inter-dependence, the Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences (ASH) is offering a Master of Arts in Intercultural Conflict Management (MA-ICM). The programme is accredited according to defined quality standards. It aims to prepare practitioners and advocates of social justice and peace to promote, just, tolerant and peaceful societies, through a practical and theoretical understanding of conflict as well as the acquisition of skills to meet the challenges of working in culturally diverse contexts.

Consistent with the values of social justice and human rights and supported by the University’s long-standing tradition in social advocacy, the MA curriculum and workshops address issues and complexities raised by a globalising world from an international and interdisciplinary perspective.
