Special projects of the university management
The Sage SAGE! research project at ASH Berlin aims to support SAGE academics, such as refugees, exiled and BiPoC academics and experienced professionals, on career paths to professorship. The recruitment of professorial staff and the relief of professors for structural development are further objectives.

Institutes
The joint institute of the four state universities in Berlin bundles application-oriented research expertise and primarily finances interdisciplinary collaborative projects with partners from the Berlin-Brandenburg region. The Competence Center Integration and Health supports applicants at ASH Berlin in the application process and coordinates the implementation of projects funded by IFAF Berlin.
